Who We Are
The Original Water Resistant Jewelry
We pioneered water resistant jewelry in 2014. Ellie Vail set out to establish a middle market in the jewelry industry, which didn't exist at the time. Many have followed in our footsteps and we're proud to have made it this far.

Behind The Brand
Meet Our Founder
Ellie Vail jewelry was founded in 2014 after former celebrity stylist Ellie Vail couldn’t find the quality of jewelry she wanted at the price point she could afford.
After realizing that stainless steel cuticle cutters didn’t rust after being left in water, Ellie set out to create her jewelry line using stainless steel as the primary material. It was apparent that there was a gap in the jewelry world and Ellie focused on filling it. Ellie Vail pioneered the water resistant jewelry trend, which set her brand apart from the rest.
Ellie Vail has grown into one of the top fashion jewelry brands. Her brand is sold by hundreds of retailers including Urban Outfitters and Revolve. Celebrities who favor the brand include Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Nicki Minaj, Hailey Bieber, Khloe Kardashian, Kate Hudson and many more.

Why Ellie Vail
What makes Ellie Vail different?
Ellie Vail jewelry is made from hypoallergenic stainless steel. Stainless steel is resistant to rusting, which prevents our gold color from tarnishing. We set out to create fashion jewelry that can keep up with your active lifestyle. Swim, shower & sweat in EVJ. It's all gold, baby baby!
What does this really mean?
You don't have to worry about your jewelry getting a funky smell, rusting, irritating your skin, or turning it green.
- Won't turn skin green (water/sweat resistant)
- Won't irritate skin (bye-bye infected ears!)
- No funky smell
*Some people may react differently to metals, even if the metal is hypoallergenic. Hypoallergenic materials are a better option for those with sensitive skin, but may still result in skin irritation.
